Meet The Staff
Sharon Hopkinson
A technical manager in the meat industry for ten years and with specialisms in food safety and quality assurance, Sharon has used her experience to ensure that the content of our Foundation Degrees are aligned to industry requirements.
A member of our experienced lecturing team for seven years, Sharon says: “There are fantastic opportunities for career development in the food industry, particularly if you carry on to foundation degree level and move into management. Consumers are becoming more demanding so there is a greater call than ever for a skilled and qualified workforce. A career as a factory or technical manager, or in new product development, will get you a good salary and job satisfaction.
