Are dogs allowed?
Yes well behaved dogs are very welcome! We even have a fun dog show taking place near Animal Management, full details can be found here. There may be some restrictions in certain areas for example inside the Food Centre.
You will find water bowls for dogs dotted across the campus.
Whilst dogs are welcome at the Canine Unit and in the car park outside Animal Management, they are not allowed in the Zoo.
Can you bring alcoholic drinks?
No alcohol consumption is allowed on site.
Can you buy tickets on the day?
Absolutely! You may want to buy tickets in advance to minimise queuing on the day, however you can buy tickets on arrival at either the car park or pedestrian entrance.
Can you walk to the event?
Whilst ample parking is available, pedestrian access is also welcomed. Pedestrian access to the college is off A51 Chester Road (opposite our Equestrian Centre).
If you prefer to cycle, there is a secure bike shed on campus.
You MUST NOT access the college on foot by walking along Worleston Road – the road is fast and dangerous with areas of poor visibility.
I have bought a ticket through the online shop, do I need to bring this with me?
For tickets purchased in advance from our online shop please either print the confirmation or be prepared to show it on a mobile phone. Where available, use the gate queue for advanced ticket holders.
Is food available or should I bring my own?
The Reaseheath restaurant is open and there are many catering outlets across the campus.
If you would rather bring your own picnic that is absolutely fine, why not sit near the Hall and enjoy your food beside our beautiful lake!
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Due to the nature of the event and the size of the campus, ground can be uneven and activities may be a distance apart. Free hire of mobility equipment is available from DIAL West Cheshire, please see more information further down this webpage.

Disabled Access Information
Reaseheath College aims to provide an enjoyable experience for all visitors to our Family Festival. Please be aware that due to the nature of the event and the size of the campus, ground can be uneven and activities a distance apart. DIAL West Cheshire, a disability charity based in Chester will have a stand at our main car park and entrance offering free hire of mobility equipment, including mobility scooters and wheelchairs. Please note that equipment cannot be pre-booked and will be made available on a first come, first served basis on the day. If mobility equipment is required at either of the two walk in entrances, a member of staff will endeavour to bring the equipment to you, but please be aware there may be a short wait for this facility. Please allow a few minutes to complete a brief registration process before using the equipment available. All customers will be given instruction in the safe use of equipment and must demonstrate their competence to use such equipment. DIAL West Cheshire reserve the right to decline the hire of equipment if there is any doubt about a customer’s ability to operate mobility equipment safely. All mobility scooter users (including people with their own equipment) are advised to proceed at slow speed in view of the number of people expected at the event.
