Depending on your previous qualifications, you could opt to study either an Extended Diploma, Diploma or Extended Certificate in Business Studies. This more advanced qualification is designed to reinforce your business focus and strengthen your career prospects. During the course you will explore the many diverse areas of business such as marketing, accountancy, human resource management, business strategy and planning.

Extended Diploma

You will study 18 modules

How long will it take?

  • 2 years, full-time

What qualifications do I need to start?

  • 4 GCSEs at grade C or above to include English and Maths, or
  • Relevant Level 2 Diploma at Merit or above

What qualifications will I gain?

Course options after this programme

  • Progress onto study a degree in business or a business related subject, or
  • Go straight into employment within the business sector

How much will this course cost?

If you are under 19 on 31st August 2017 the tuition fees and exam costs are free for our courses. If you are aged 19 or over you may have to pay a fee.

You may also be required to pay costs associated with study tours or additional qualifications.

Transport

Accommodation

At Reaseheath we have on-site residential accommodation for 785 students. If you are aged over 16 and studying on a full-time course you may apply for a residential place. Visit the accommodation pages on our website for more information.

Age: 17

Amy chose to study business with us because our courses off er so many options. She came straight from school onto our Level 2 Diploma in Business and enjoyed it so much that she’s progressed to Level 3.

Moving up a level has encouraged her to look at aspects of business in more detail, and she’s particularly enjoyed learning about business accounting and visiting local companies to see how they promote themselves. She’s also gained practical business experience as a member of our Young Enterprise team.
