“My job takes me to new build constructionsites all over the north west. I work for the UK’s biggest warranty and insurance provider and I’m one of a team who ensure that construction standards are met at all stages and authorise the 10 year Buildmark warranty at completion.
“Essentially we drive up building standards and make sure that the buyer is protected. It’s a responsible job and you need a practical understanding of how all the trades work plus knowledge of planning and building compliance.
“The built environment needs professionals who are properly trained and multi- disciplined. Reaseheath Construction prepares students well to go into the industry. The tutors care about delivering good practical skills but also teach about site discipline.”
