Do you enjoy playing sport, improving your performance and generally learning about sport? our Level 3 Diploma Sports (Performance and Excellence) could be the ideal course for you! Designed to enhance and develop your knowledge of sport, the Level 3 Diploma is an ideal qualification to hold if you are looking to get a job in sport once you have finished college, or if you want to progress onto a foundation degree.

The Level 3 Diploma in Sports (Performance and excellence) is a two year course. You need to complete 12 of the modules detailed below. The course is structured so you will be learning actively as much as possible. Lessons range from lectures to practical sports sessions, and include sufficient computer time and tutorial time to ensure that you will always be on track.

You will also gain valuable industry experience from a work placement which will help you to find a job in the future.

  • At least 4 GCSEs at grade C or above preferably including English, Maths and Science or
  • Equivalent Level 2 Diploma in Sports Performance at Merit or above
  • An interest in sport is essential

  • FA Level 1 Coaching
  • FA Level 2 in Coaching Football (possible)
  • Level 2 qualification in Gym Instruction (possible)

  • Functional skills in Maths, English or ICT
