So what is the Enterprise Delivery Hub at Reaseheath?
The Hub was created on top of the solid foundation of the REG – Rural Enterprise Gateway Project. REG was funded through Rural Renaissance, an initiative devised to help farmers adjust following the major Foot and Mouth outbreaks in 2001. It mainly focused on farm diversification and grant applications. We want the new Hub to do considerably more for rural businesses. This is why we have pulled together Skills, Enterprise, Innovation in a One Stop Shop. Not only that but we have access to more funding than ever to help rural businesses grow. We have a team of Customer Relationship Managers ready to work with you and your business. Whether you are at the pre-start stage – i.e. just thinking about setting up a business – or a mature business looking for growth, we are here to enable you to increase turnover and improve profitability.
Is the Hub only about growing businesses?
Growing businesses is a key priority for the North West Development Agency which is the Regional Development Agency for the North West of England. However, there are other key drivers one of which is the need to reduce carbon emissions. Funding has come from the Agency to help us work with you to address these two key areas: Business Growth and Carbon Reduction. What sort of areas can the Hub help with?
The Hub exists to help North West Businesses grow. It has been designed to take a 360o look at the needs of businesses. Our team of trained advisors can suggest a range of interventions designed to hit your specific buttons and meet your business needs with knowledge, technology transfer and practical solutions. This is no ‘one size fits all’. The Hub represents a unique opportunity for your business to work with us on issues that are directly relevant to you. What is a priority for somebody else’s business may not be a priority for yours. We need to work together on your priorities and your targets for growth. The hub can help across a range of areas:
