New for Reaseheath zoo are our ‘Keeper for the Day’ Sessions.

Benefiting from 1 on 1 tuition with one or more of our keepers; ‘keeper for the day’ candidates can choose to work with us for a whole, or half a day.

Choose which area you would like to work in –

  • Exotics – reptiles, amphibians, invertabrates and fish
  • Domestics – rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents, large domenstic animals such as donkeys, ponies and goats
  • Zoo – Zoo paddocks including lemurs, porcupines, capybara and birds of prey

You will receive a certificate of completion of your day, including a picture of you performing a Zoo activity.

Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult

You must be fit and able to work outside in all weather
