Nature Freaks & Animal Einstein’s Wildlife Clubs

  • Hatchlings
  • • 4-7 years
    • 2 hour session, 10am – 12pm
    • £4 per child
    • Adult supervision required
    • Number of spaces limited to 5 per session

What’s it all about?

  • A combination of practical activities, both indoors and outdoors, both in the zoo and around the college campus
  • Wildlife Club candidates must be fit, and strong enough to work outside in all weathers
  • Sessions are based in our outdoor education classroom- in the heart of the zoo
  • Taught by our qualified teachers, and experienced zoo staff to help and record wildlife at home
  • Get closer to nature, and enjoy the British countryside and wildlife, and the stunning variety in Cheshire
  • Have fun, while learning about the animals in your back garden. And what YOU can do to see them!

Club tasks include (age dependent):

  • Making bird feeders
  • Performing hedgerow surveys
  • Butterfly and caterpillar counts
  • Pond dipping
  • Understanding animal tracks and signs
  • Seasonal outdoor nature activities. October = Autumn, January = Winter

Dates available:

  • Winter Wildlife Club – 14th/21st January
  • Spring Wildlife Club – 18th/25th March
  • Summer Wildlife Club – 21st July, 7th/14th/21st August
  • Autumn Wildlife Club – 7th/14th October
