Allotment Growing | Allotment gardening offers an escape from urban life and rewards you with incredibly fresh, tasty and varied produce for much of the year, but getting started can seem daunting.

Grow Your Own Cut Flowers | This course is for anyone who wants to learn how to grow a variety of flowers and foliage for cutting, either as a hobby or in preparation for a business venture.
Course modules include a mix of theory and practical skills such a plant propagating methods and choosing which plants to grow. Hanging Baskets | Learn how to plant an impressive hanging basket to be the envy of your family and friends. You will be guided through how to plant and arrange a hanging basket by one of our experienced horticultural lecturers. Giving you the tips and tricks to get started and make the most out of your baskets.

An Introduction to Lawn Care | This course will cover how to identify problems with your lawn with an overview of problems such as weeds and diseases; types of mowers and their uses; safe use of mowers; setting up and checking your mower after winter storage; reasons and benefits of scarifying, aeration and lawn treatments. | £30 | 2.5 hours | Saturday 12th June 2021 | |
Sustainable Flowers | During this course our expert tutor will teach you about alternative mechanics to oasis, creating 3 floral designs using seasonal flowers and foliage’s, allowing you to be more sustainable when creating fabulous floral designs.
