Spring Farm Walk

Venue:            Bagmere Farm, Brereton, Sandbach, CW11 1RU

At Bagmere Farm the milking platform is 120ha (296 acres). With a further 70ha (172.9 acres) of support land. They have 480 cows which are split between 100 autumn calvers and 380 spring calvers. The cows are a mix of NZ Friesians and Jersey cross breeding.  In May 2015 they completed building a brand new 40/80 Waikato milking parlour with circular collecting yard and associated facilities.

Meeting at 7.15pm, the walk will start at 7.30pm. Light refreshments will be provided after the farm walk. Please join us for what we believe will be a very interesting evening.  Non-members are welcome.
