Tuition fees and financial support

Further Education tuition fees

If you are under 19 on 31st August 2018 the tuition fees and exam costs are free for our courses. If you are aged 19 or over you may have to pay a fee, visit the tuition fees for FE 19+ students page for information.

If you turn 19 during your course you will not pay fees for the duration of that course.

Depending on which course you choose you may be required to pay costs associated with study tours or additional qualifications. These costs are not included in the tuition fees.

Advanced learner loans

If you are aged aged 24 and over at the start of your course, or 19 and over if you have previously achieved a level 3 qualification the Advanced Learner Loans could help you study on a course or support you in a change of career.
