Croft End Equestrian Centre

Thanks to a successful partnership between Reaseheath’s Equestrian Centre and Croft End Equestrian Centre, students in Lancashire now have the chance to study closer to home.

Croft End is a professional training centre and riding school near Oldham, which prides itself on turning out students with the skills and knowledge required by the industry. The centre, which adjoins the Daisy Nook Country Park, has a strong focus on developing employability skills, so you’ll need to be punctual, reliable and enthusiastic.

Croft End is approved as a riding school by both the Association of British Riding Schools and by the British Horse Society (BHS) and is a BHS Approved Training Centre for stages 1 and 2. It has indoor and outdoor arenas, stabling for over 60 horses, pasture turnout and a purpose built equine shower bay.

Its training facilities include a very sophisticated horse simulator named Troy, along with classrooms, IT and audio-visual aids and a library. You’ll be taught in the classroom by Reaseheath staff and will receive lots of practical experience by working on the commercial yard, handling different types of horses and assisting clients.

At Croft End Equestrian Centre you have the opportunity to study either a Level 2 Technical Certificate in Horse Care or a Level 3 Diplomas in Horse Management
