Horticulture Enterprise reflects a range of businesses across all sectors of horticulture including garden retail, landscape creation, ornamental and food production. This course combines practical and scientific principles of horticulture with business and entrepreneurship skills to help you start your own horticulture enterprise.

If you enjoy the practical application of knowledge and you are interested in developing commercial opportunities then this course may be for you.

You will gain practical skills and knowledge and have the opportunity to apply this to real situations. You will have the chance to develop your ideas and test whether they would create a viable business. Along the way you will develop great vocational and transferable skills that will equip you for your chosen career whether working for yourself or for an employer.

The horticulture industry needs new young, energetic and business minded individuals to help produce food, create and manage parks and open space, develop new plants and garden products and contribute to the £9billion of income that the sector brings to the UK economy.

How much will this course cost?

If you are under 19 on 31st August 2019 the tuition fees and exam costs are free for our courses. If you are aged 19 or over you may have to pay a fee.

You may also be required to pay costs associated with study tours or additional qualifications.
