16-19 tuition fund
The 16 to 19 tuition fund is one-off funding for the 2020 to 2021 academic year only. It is intended to mitigate the disruption to learning arising from coronavirus (COVID-19). The funding is being provided to support small group tuition for 16 to 19 students in English, maths, and other courses where learning has been disrupted.
Reaseheath College will use its 16-19 Tuition Fund allocation to fund in-year an additional five Independent Learning Practitioners (ILPs) and two English & Maths Intervention Tutors to target support at students aged 16-19 who are on full-time study programmes, who will benefit from small group support in achieving Grade 5 or above in English and/or maths. We shall focus our additional daily holistic small group support activity in a dedicated Study Centre from 9am-4pm, with further additional twilight English and maths study support sessions scheduled for residential students who will benefit from this support.
