Travelling by bus

Our college bus service transports over 1,400 students every day from far and wide.

Reasons to travel with Reaseheath College:

  • Our extensive routes reach right across the county and surrounding regions
  • We pick up from a number of train stations, including Crewe Railway Station
  • We have a high quality fleet of coaches which are all fitted with seat belts
  • All of our drivers are DBS checked and all students arriving on campus are met and supervised by staff each day
  • 20 out of 23 of our bus routes pick up at 7am or later

Reaseheath will still be subsidising transport fees by £1.5 million to help ensure that the cost of travel remains as small as possible and that we continue to offer a cost effective, safe and comfortable method of travel to and from campus.

Before applying for transport please ensure you have read the Behaviour Code for Students using College Transport and the Terms and Conditions of Reaseheath College Transport. If you have used our buses before, please ensure you check routes and times because there have been some changes.

Please note – bus routes, times and stops are subject to change. To apply you will need your student ID number, this can be found on any correspondence from us (email, letter).

Pay for College Transport – term 2 bus pass

Due to the reduced number of weeks of term 2 the cost of the bus pass has been reduced accordingly. To make a payment, follow these steps:

  • Click the button below that represents your student status – either ‘Day Student’ or ‘Residential Student and Apprentices’
  • Open the file that downloads to your device
  • In the file, find your bus route and your bus stop number and click the corresponding link. This will take you to the online store for payment

Travelling by train

We also collect students from several train stations, including two pick-ups from Crewe Railway Station.
Financial support for train travel is also available to eligible students from the Discretionary Learner Support Fund. For more information, visit our finance page.

If have paid for train travel to Crewe you will be entitled to a free bus pass from Crewe railway station to college.
