Meet your 2020/21 SA President!

Hi everyone!

I’m Charlotte Brunt and as Student Association (SA) president I wish you the best experience and a warm welcome to Reaseheath!

I started my journey here at Reaseheath in 2018 studying for a BSc in Equine. I have been a member of the SA for the last two years in different roles as well as working as a Student Ambassador on site. I was appointed to be your president and to work closely with the SA and the Student Life Team. My aim is to give you the best Reaseheath experience possible.

Myself, a team of amazing Freshers Crew and staff have created a brilliant ‘Freshers’, where you can enjoy the first few weeks of living away from home, living with new people and being in a new place but also keeping safe and adhering to government guidelines.

The activities will get you better acquainted with your neighbours and other students on campus. The first few weeks can be tough living away from home, but myself and the Freshers Crew are here to help you, every tear, laugh, hug and step of the way. We’ll be easily identified by our sky blue body warmers! Our aim is to make you feel as at home as possible so please feel free to grab us for a chat.

The SA aren’t just here for the fun and games (but we are very good at that!), we’re here to help with anything academic too! Need some help with assignments or struggling to work things out? We run Twilight hour in the evenings where you can get lots of help from the team and other students from across campus.

We’re here to answer any question, even if it’s about doing your own washing! Taking part in the Student Association activities is a fantastic addition to your CV and gives you the chance to make a difference to your Reaseheath Experience!

If you have any questions or queries don’t hesitate to let us know by emailing studentlife@reaseheath.ac.uk. I hope to see you all soon!
