Our halls of residence provide residential students with a safe place to settle into college life. We offer modern accommodation onsite, within the beautiful grounds of Reaseheath.

Reaseheath College has on-site residential accommodation for up to 600 students, fully supported by a 24/7 Student Support Team.
Any full time students aged 16 and over may apply for a residential place and a bursary may be available to help with costs. You must apply for a bursary separately. Bursaries will open soon.
Priority to accommodation is given to students who live far away from Reaseheath and are unable to travel in on a daily basis, or would benefit educationally due to personal welfare and social problems.
You can visit a typical student room during one of our Course Open Events, or at your interview.
Reaseheath has residential places for students who require accessible facilities however, these are limited.
Campus Facilities include:
- Multiple catering outlets open at various points between 8am until 7pm
- Under 18 common rooms for you to socialise and relax
- Student bar in the heart of the campus equipped with a pool table, table tennis and large screen TVs. The courtyard is open as a bar in the evenings for students aged over 18

- Shuttle bus into Nantwich and local shops – specific days and times
- Free WiFi in all halls
- Free onsite car parking – you’ll need to obtain a permit from the transport office when you start at college

Cotton Hall is centrally located on campus and is a single sex hall, for under 18-year-old students. It is a two-storey building with separately accessed corridors. All bedrooms are single en suite rooms and each corridor has its own communal kitchen area with seating, a microwave, toaster and kettle. The room has a single bed, desk, chair, drawers and a wardrobe. There is parking to the front of Cotton Hall and fields to the rear of the building. Cotton Hall has 48 bed spaces. Accessible rooms are available. The front doors and each corridor are entered via controlled access only.
Tomkinson Hall is centrally located on campus and is a single sex hall for under 18-year-old students. It is a two-storey building with separately accessed corridors. All bedrooms are single en suite rooms and each corridor has its own communal kitchen area with seating, a microwave, toaster and kettle. The room has a single bed, desk, chair, drawers and a wardrobe. There is a small car park to the front of Tomkinson Hall. Tomkinson Hall has 48 bed spaces. Accessible rooms are available. The front doors and each corridor are entered via controlled access only.
Chetwood Hall is a large two storey Hall of Residence housing 8 students to each corridor. They are single en suite rooms and have a kitchen and communal space in each corridor with a cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer. The room has a single bed, desk, chair, drawers and a wardrobe. There is parking to the front of Chetwood and fields to the rear. Chetwood Hall has 96 bed spaces. Accessible rooms are available. The front doors and each corridor are entered via controlled access only.

Platt Hall is our largest Hall of Residence and is situated near the lake and is set in landscaped gardens. It is a three-storey building with separately accessed corridors that house 8 or 9 students. Each corridor has a kitchen and communal area with a cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer. The rooms are all single ensuite and have a single bed, desk, chair, drawers and a wardrobe. The front doors and each corridor are entered via controlled access only. There is parking to the front of Platt Hall accessed via a security barrier. Platt Hall has 152 bed spaces and accessible rooms are available.
The Townhouses are centrally located on campus and are made up of 5 accommodation blocks (of which 3 are available to full-time students). Each block comprises 5 or 6 houses that accommodate 8 students in each “house”. The Townhouses are set over three storeys. Each self-catered house has a large kitchen with a cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer and a communal area with comfy seating and a flat screen TV. The room has a ¾ size bed, desk, chair, drawers and a wardrobe. The rooms have a large shower room shared with 1 other student. The Townhouses are set in a quadrangle and have landscaped gardens in the central area in front of each block. The front doors are entered via controlled access only. The Townhouses have 128 bed spaces available to full time students.

If you are under the age of 18 you will be placed in catered accommodation. If you are over the age of 18 you are able to choose from catered or self-catered accommodation.

The meal plan is intended to help students budget their meals by allocating daily meals to their card. Some students may wish to buy additional items over and above their allowance. Students or parents/employers can top up their cards to supplement their allowance.
To top up cards you’ll need to log onto to your I-pay account.

Takeaway containers and cutlery must be purchased when buying food to take away from the main canteen. These are charged at 50p and must be paid for separately.
Students may bring their own clean reusable container if they prefer at no charge.
We recommend students bring reuseable drink bottles for squash and water to help with sustainability in the college. Cups are charged at 25p when purchased outside of the set meal prices which include drinks.
All the above can be purchased using your student card (if additional money has been topped up on your I-pay account). Debit or Credit cards may also be used.
The college is cashless and so cash cannot be accepted in any of our outlets.
