Your Nights, Your Way!

Get ready for an incredible social scene at Reaseheath! As soon as you start college, you automatically become a member of the Reaseheath Club, your passport to a vibrant world of social and sporting activities that also foster fantastic staff and student relationships. Evening activities can be suggested by students and the Student Life Team will work hard to bring you the events that you want to see, so get in touch!

The Reaseheath Club boasts two fantastic, licensed bars in the Jim Humphreys Centre, affectionately known by students as ‘The Bar’ and ‘The Courtyard Cafe’ – a welcoming cafe by day, transforming into an exclusive bar for UCR students by night.

Opening Times:

  • The Bar: Monday – Sunday 7:30 pm – 11:00 pm
  • The Courtyard Cafe: Monday – Wednesday 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm

We also have a dedicated Under 18’s Common Room, open daily from 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm, ensuring there’s a space for everyone to relax and socialize.

Epic Socials & Unforgettable Events!

Prepare for a year packed with big socials and unforgettable events! From the moment you arrive, our Freshers’ Ball kicks things off with incredible themed nights like Schoolies, Paint Party, and Battle of the Houses. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Throughout the year, you can look forward to our lively Bavarian Night, the spooky Halloween Ball, the elegant Winter Ball, and the romantic Valentine’s Ball. Our RAG Ball raises money for charity with a Silent Disco or Foam Party, culminating in our spectacular Summer Ball – an outdoor festival in a marquee with multiple live music acts!

Beyond our major balls, we keep the good times rolling with live musicians, hilarious comedy nights, exciting bingo, karaoke, inflatables, and even rodeo bulls at our
socials. Plus, keep an eye out for our popular themed nights – there’s always something new and exciting happening!

Adventure Awaits Off-Campus

Looking for an adventure beyond campus? Many of our off-site trips are requested by YOU, our students! Past excursions have included thrilling days out at Alton Towers, competitive Bowling and Laser Quest, animal encounters at Chester Zoo, retail therapy at Cheshire Oaks, and shopping sprees at the Trafford Centre.
