Do you want to progress in your chosen career or thinking of a career change?

Reaseheath College offers a range of flexible courses to suit your needs and current circumstances!

Whatever your reasons for a change of career, whether it’s for personal interest, or something you’ve always wanted to do, or just something you’ve always wanted to try, then a course at Reaseheath can help you develop your skills.  We offer full-time and part-time courses as many of our programmes are designed to let you fit your study around your other commitments.

Gaining a university qualification can enhance your career and improve your career opportunities. Don’t worry if you think you won’t have the relevant entry requirements as applications from mature learners are considered on an individual basis and substantive full-time work experience may be considered as well as, or in place of, formal qualifications.

Our Access to Higher Education Diploma is designed to enable students to readjust to the learning environment, particularly those who have been out of education for some time.  On successful completion of the course, students may continue their studies on a Degree, Foundation Degree or CertHE.  Each programme varies, but modules may be assessed by means of coursework rather than formal written examinations.

Our courses appeal to students of all ages, backgrounds and interests.  If you are not sure which course is right for you, why not choose from one of our many short courses.

Higher Education and Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

CPD can be part of an individual’s personal ambition to enhance his/her career prospects or to simply feel more confident about their work and make it more personally fulfilling. It can be part of performance targets set by workforce management or an opportunity for individuals to improve their career paths. It can lead to higher qualifications or enhanced job prospects or be required by professional bodies to maintain professional status.

Employers also have the opportunity to claim individual units for their employees as part of a CPD accreditation programme. CPD allows employees to maintain, improve and broaden their knowledge and skills and develop the personal qualities required in their professional lives.

Our part-time degree programmes are flexibly designed to suit those already working in a relevant industry. The learning and development of a job role forms a significant part of study, as staff are assessed on a blend of academic and vocational ability, through part-time, distance learning, e-learning, workplace learning, modular provision and face to face where and when appropriate.
