The Prince’s Countryside Fund

The Prince’s Countryside Fund is supported by a unique collaboration of businesses working together to support farming businesses to secure a sustainable future for British agriculture and the wider rural economy. Since 2010 the Prince’s Countryside Fund have donated £3.3 million in grants, supported over 70 projects across the UK and helped more than 52,000 people.

Reaseheath College, Cheshire was awarded funding through the Prince’s Countryside Fund. The project was organised and managed by Reaseheath and funding was available until September 2015.

The Best Way Forward

Providing one-to-one support for struggling farmers

This project aim was to help farmers identify the best way forward for their business, using specialists to provide support.

The areas covered by the project were finance advice, business (including succession planning), farm management, environment and animal husbandry.
