Level 3 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring

Are you currently teaching, coaching or training? Maybe you need to be able to coach and mentor individuals in a range of settings, such as on-the-job or in a training company, in a college or a company’s internal training department?

If so, our Level 3 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring qualification would be a great choice for you!

This course would also be suitable if you want to diversify into coaching and mentoring on a part-time basis.

By studying this qualification, you will cover the core skills, knowledge and understanding needed to support others in a coaching and mentoring capacity.

Entry requirements

  • You will need to be occupationally competent in the vocational area in which you are providing coaching and mentoring
  • In order to practice your coaching and mentoring skills, you will need to have two mentees in place. If you are currently unemployed please contact us to discuss alternative arrangements

During the course you will study a selection of the following units:

  • Coaching skills
  • Engaging others in the learning and development process
  • Mentoring practice
  • Understanding mentoring
  • Preparing for the coaching role

This course may strengthen your employability, could lead to progression in your current role or provide opportunities for new training/coaching roles.

It is likely that there will be 3 classes a week, the first two sessions will be independent learning with third session taking place online one weekday evening.
