Equipment List for Forestry and Arboriculture  

For practical sessions:  

• Work clothes  

• Waterproof clothing   

• Work gloves  

• Workshop gloves  

• Ground Helmet Or combined ground/climbing helmet (optional) 

• Clipboard  

For classroom sessions:  

• Pens, pencils, rulers etc.  

• A4 Note pad  

• Lever Arch File with file inserts. Make sure you have an insert for each module that you cover in the year to keep organised. Recycle plastic wallets where possible! 

Optional: 

• Tree ID book – Collins tree Guide    

• T-level students only  – Agriculture, Environment and Animal Care. T Level Core Textbook. Robin Jackson. Agriculture and Agricultural Science textbooks and eBooks 

PPE for chainsaw practical’s   

We do have PPE but if you have your own we would recommend bringing that with you.   

We do arrange for companies to come into college to demonstrate PPE.
