Vehicle Inspection (VRQ)
This course is for automotive enthusiasts keen to jump-start their career in the motor vehicle industry. Throughout the year you’ll be trained to repair and replace light vehicle components, working on a range of different motor vehicles.
Based primarily in our workshops, classroom time is kept to a minimum. Whilst working in small teams, you’ll learn about vehicle electronics, engine technologies, chassis dynamics and design.

What qualifications do I need to start?
- Typically 4 GCSEs at grade 3, including a 2/3 combination in Maths and English

- Level 2 Diploma in Vehicle Inspection (VRQ)
- Functional Skills or GCSE in English and Maths depending on previous qualifications

- You can progress on to the Level 3 IMI Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or
- T Level in Agricultural Engineering
