General Overview
Abrasive wheels are widely used across engineering and manufacturing environments, but improper use can cause serious injuries, including wheel breakage and contact injuries. UK regulations (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998, PUWER) and HSE guidance (HSG17) require that anyone mounting or using abrasive wheels is properly trained. This course ensures you can operate abrasive wheels safely, understand legal requirements, and reduce workplace accidents.
