Course fees for 19+ learners

Students aged 19 or over on 31st August of the same year they intend to start their course will be charged tuition fees as detailed below. Level 2 students may be eligible for financial assistance with tuition fees from the Residential & Discretionary Learner Support Fund. Applications for this support fund can be made via our application page here.

Please note these fees are regularly updated in line with information from the funding agency.

Additional qualifications will be subject to a fee depending on the qualification.

If you are aged 19 to 23 you may be entitled to full funding of your course if you have not already achieved a full Level 2 qualification (if studying a Level 2) or a full Level 3 qualification (if studying a Level 3). Please speak to the Student Finance team on 01270 613205 or telephone the National Careers Service on 0800 100 900 if you wish to discuss this further. The National Careers Service advisers can help identify where you might access this funding and for which courses.

If you are studying a Level 3 course, you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to pay for your Tuition fees, information is available on our Advanced Learning Loans page.

You will receive an invoice for your Tuition fees in September. This can be paid in full, termly or in 8 monthly instalments. Payment methods will be on the reverse of your invoice.

If, after enrolment, you withdraw from your course, you will be charged a pro-rate fee calculated depending on your withdrawal date. Please be aware that if you have arranged an Advanced Learner Loan to pay for your Tuition fees, this may not cover the fee the College charge, and you will be liable for the shortfall. An amended invoice will be issued, along with information relating to any payment due or refund.

Devolved Combined Authorities

The devolution of adult education functions to specified combined authorities and the Mayor of London will apply in relation to the academic year from 1 August 2019. The following Combined Authorities will exercise, in relation to their area, certain adult education functions of the Secretary of State under the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009. This transfer of functions has been achieved by way of orders made under the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009.

There are 6 devolved authorities whom have publish their own funding rules that will apply to providers in receipt of devolved adult education budget (AEB) funding, from 1 August 2019, for AEB delivery to residents in their areas.

The Education Funding Skills Authority have confirmed that learners will not be automatically be funded by the ESFA where the applicant is from a Devolved Area. The devolved authorities are listed below for information.

We will be unable to secure central government funds for applicants that are resident from a devolved combined authority. Therefore you will need to secure funding from one of the options below prior to starting your course.

Option 1 – please contact your devolved combined authority area to secure funding for your study at Reaseheath College prior to starting the course. Please note funding secured will need to be confirmed by letter/email from the devolved combined authority prior to enrolment on the course.
