Led by experienced and highly qualified staff you’ll build self-reliance, leadership skills and the ability to inspire others while you experience a wide variety of outdoor sports at least once a week.
We have a variety of fantastic facilities for you to use on campus, from our own college lake to our high ropes course and indoor climbing wall, and we are also ideally located near some of the best outdoor environments the UK has to offer, including the Peak District and North Wales, which are great locations for you to practice adventure sports activities.

Our campus is your classroom
The Reaseheath College campus is the perfect place to study your Sport and Outdoor Activities qualification, as it’s home to a range of first-class facilities and resources, including:
- Our college lake, which is great for developing your kayaking skills
- Specialist outdoor equipment such as mountain bikes, kayaks and canoes
- A bushcraft area and 30ft high ropes course, made up of pulse-raising elements including Jacob’s Ladder, Jungle Vines, the Seesaw and the Leap of Faith
- Our indoor climbing wall, which you can use to practice your climbing skills before you progress to the rock outside
- Our sports performance centre including an altitude chamber used by students as well as professional athletes
