Lambing & Zoo Weekend FAQ’s
Is there free parking?
Yes, we have free parking on site. Please arrive at Reaseheath College & University Centre Entrance 1 and you will be directed to a parking space on site.
Where is the event?
Our lambing & zoo weekends are located on Reaseheath College and University Centre campus. On arrival, you will be directed to the main sign in which is located on our college farm. This is where the majority of the event will take place and is where the farmers market is located. Included in your ticket is access to Reaseheath mini zoo which is located a short walk way from the farm which will be signposted.
I’m an expectant mother, can I still attend?
Because of zoonotic risks and farm hazards, we would advise this event is not suitable for pregnant visitors.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately pets are not aloud at this event, with the exception of assistant dogs. This is to ensure the safety of our farm and zoo animals.
Do you accept cash and card payments?
Reaseheath College is a cashless campus so only card and contactless payments are available. Some of the Farmers Market stallholders will be accepting cash.
Do I need to book a ticket or can I pay on the day?
We would advise all visitors to purchase their tickets in advance of the event as tickets often sell out. If some tickets are available on the day of the event, you may purchase these before arriving. Ticket sales will not be available at the entrance of the event so please come prepared with your tickets at the ready.
Can I buy food at the event?
Yes, we have a wide variety of catering outlets on offer at our lambing and zoo weekends which will be located at the farmers market, we also have our Main Campus Restaurant and Feast Cafe open during the event.
Toilet and baby changing facilities
We have plenty of toilet facilities on site during this event, including specific baby changing and disabled access facilities. These will be well signposted during the event but if you are usure, a member of our friendly team will be able to guide you in the right direction.

Can I take photos at this event?
Yes we encourage you take photographs and document your time at our event. We will have multiple photo opportunities around campus during this event and even have the chance to purchase a professional photograph of your family with a lamb.
What footwear is advised?
Farms can be muddy or uneven. We would advise you to wear sturdy footwear such as wellies or boots. Warm/waterproof clothes are often recommended!
