Phoebe Lloyd – Class of 2026

Level 3 Sport and Exercise Science

Phoebe Lloyd has finished her two years at Reaseheath with an outstanding D*D*D in Sport and Exercise Science and is now taking another step towards her ambition of working in sport.

The Course

Phoebe chose Reaseheath because she wanted to study the areas of sport that interested her, while developing both practical and theoretical knowledge.
Sports massage was a particular highlight, giving her the chance to learn how different techniques can support athletes. She also developed a strong foundation in areas including the physiology of the musculoskeletal system.

“I’ve really enjoyed sport massage, learning all the correct techniques and how it helps athletes.”
Alongside her studies, Phoebe has continued to play football for Stoke City FC, where she has been part of the club since she was eight. She has progressed through the ranks to the first team.

The Achievement

Phoebe is particularly proud of the consistent hard work that went into achieving her results. Her experience at Stoke City has also helped shape her career ambitions, giving her first-hand experience of working with football physiotherapists.

“I’ve had lots of experience with physios in football and know how important it is to have a good one! So, I’d like to be that person for footballers in the future!”

What’s Next

Phoebe will study Physiotherapy at Keele University, combining her interest in sport and the human body with her experience in elite football.
She plans to continue gaining football experience and hopes eventually to become a physiotherapist working with footballers.
