The 2019 Reaseheath Junior Cake-Off!
Are you sieving the dream in the kitchen? Can you rise to an occasion? Are your skills with sugar paste sweet? Whatever tickles your fondant fancy, it’s all or muffin in our new competition!
We are challenging you to bake and decorate a cake with a ‘spring’ theme. The choice of recipe and style is completely up to you! Don’t be afraid to take some whisks – the cakes are high!
- 1st prize – £100 and 2 iPad’s for your school
- 2nd prize – £75
- 3rd prize – £50
How and when:
Schools need to register their entries by Friday 7th December using the entry form below.
Stage 1 – Product Development…
At your school, teams of up to three year 9 or 10 students will develop a ‘spring’ themed cake. The school will submit a photograph and product specification of each team’s entry to Reaseheath Food Centre by Friday 15th February.
Stage 2 – Shortlisting of Finalists…
Reaseheath Food Centre will review all entries and select teams to compete in the final event. Finalists will be notified of their success by Monday 25th February.
Stage 3 – The Final…
Finalists will have 2 hours on Monday 25th March to create their masterpieces in the bakery at Reaseheath Food Centre. The winning bake will be judged by celebrity and food industry judges!
