We would love to see you at our annual Family Festival on Sunday 17 May 2026, 10am – 5pm.
There will be a wide variety of hands-on activities taking place right across campus, showcasing the many courses we offer here at Reaseheath College and University Centre Reaseheath, as well as a number of external acts and exhibitors.
Access all areas of the campus where you can take part in activities including brick laying, tree climbing, stock judging, flower arranging and lots more. With a Farmers Market, food stalls, main lawn attractions, a zoo and farm to explore, be sure to arrive early!

Family Festival FAQs
Are dogs allowed?
Yes well behaved dogs are very welcome! There may be some restrictions in certain areas for example inside the Food Centre and the Reaseheath Zoo.
You will find water bowls for dogs dotted across the campus.
Can you bring alcoholic drinks?
No alcohol consumption is allowed on site.
Can you buy tickets on the day?
No. Pre-paid tickets only.
Is cash payment accepted on the day?
This is predominantly a cashless event however some activities incur a small charge so you may want to bring some change.
Some exhibitors will take both cash and card payments.
There is no cash machine on site.
Can you walk to the event?
Whilst ample parking is available, pedestrian access is also welcomed. Pedestrian access to the college is off A51 Chester Road (opposite our Equestrian Centre).
If you prefer to cycle, there is a secure bike shed on campus.
You MUST NOT access the college on foot by walking along Worleston Road – the road is fast and dangerous with areas of poor visibility.
Is food available or should I bring my own?
The Reaseheath restaurant is open and there are many catering outlets across the campus.
If you would rather bring your own picnic that is absolutely fine, why not sit near the Hall and enjoy your food beside our beautiful lake!
Carer / Disability Ticket Information
Do you offer free or discounted tickets for carers?
Yes. We welcome disabled visitors and those who require essential assistance. Disabled visitors must purchase a full price ticket (adult or child) and the carer supporting a disabled visitor are eligible for a free carer ticket on the day. This ticket will be given upon entry after producing one of the below documents.
What proof do I need to show for a carer concession?
We aim to be accessible and non-discriminatory, so we accept a wide range of documentation. This recognises that not all disabilities are visible and not everyone has the same paperwork.
Accepted forms of evidence include (but are not limited to):
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA) award letter
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP) award letter
- Attendance Allowance award letter
- Carer’s Allowance award letter
- Blue Badge (as part of wider supporting evidence)
- Access Card (particularly with the +1 symbol)
- A letter from a GP, social worker, or support organisation confirming the need for a carer
- Relevant local authority or official documentation showing essential assistance is required

Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Due to the nature of the event and the size of the campus, ground can be uneven and activities may be a distance apart. Hire of mobility equipment is available from Event Mobility (Charitable Incorporated Organisation). Is there accessible parking available?
Is the Reaseheath Zoo open?
Yes the Reaseheath Zoo is open, admittance to the zoo is included in the event price.
Please note – dog are not allowed in the Zoo.
Is there parking and do you have to pay?
Free, ample parking is available and will be clearly signposted when you approach Reaseheath.
Will there be baby changing facilities?
Yes there are multiple toilets with baby changing facilities onsite. See the map on your programme for their locations.
What is your refund policy?
Refund Policy
If cancellation notification is given after the College has accepted an order for the supply of Goods and/or services 50% of the agreed fee will be charged.
If cancellation notification is given within 14 days of delivery or service start date, or the customer failsto attend or collect the goods and/orservicessupplied, then 100% of the fee will be charged.

Accessibility Information
Event Mobility (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) will be providing electric mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs at this event for the use of mobility impaired, disabled and elderly visitors.

Online bookings must be made at least 2 days before the event.
Bookings cannot be taken during the event. If there is spare equipment available at the event it is offered on a first come, first served basis only.
