Adventure Sports

If you love outdoor adventure and would like to work in the industry, this course is a great introduction for your career. Modules are structured to help build your confidence ready to become a successful leader in outdoor and adventurous activities.  

A good proportion of teaching will be delivered through practical sessions including rock climbing,  canoeing, kayaking, mountain walking, camping and sailing

  • Physical activity, health and wellbeing 
  • Physical preparation and readiness for sport and physical activity 
  • Inclusivity, diversity and equality in delivering sport and physical activity 
  • Leading sport and physical activity sessions (outdoor activities) 
  • Customer service in sport and physical activity 
  • Components and principles of fitness training  for sport and physical activity 
  • Practical Sport (land and water based outdoor activities) 
  • Assisting sports coaching (outdoor activities) 
  • Functional Skills or GCSE in English and Maths depending on previous qualifications

Duke of Edinburgh

We are now offering the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award across college to all students. If you are between the ages of 16-25 you can sign up to Duke of Edinburgh here at Reaseheath.

How much will this course cost?

If you are under 19 on 31st August 2019 the tuition fees and exam costs are free for our courses. If you are aged 19 or over you may have to pay a fee.

You may also be required to pay costs associated with study tours or additional qualifications.

Accommodation
