Construction and joinery students at Reaseheath College are now using professional-grade power tools donated by leading manufacturer Bosch Professional, thanks to a new partnership through the Bosch Professional ProCollege scheme.
The college has taken delivery of over £2,000 worth of Bosch Professional tools and accessories, which will be used by students in practical sessions to prepare them for work in the construction industry.
The equipment includes the latest power tools and accessories, helping students develop skills with the same tools they’ll encounter in the workplace such as a sander, grinder, drill, planer, multi tool, charger and batteries.
The donation forms part of a wider collaboration between Reaseheath College and Bosch, which also includes technical training, live demonstrations, and hands-on TechTalks delivered by Bosch power tool experts.
Michael Aldridge, Joinery Instructor at Reaseheath, said: “This is an incredible opportunity for our students to gain experience using tools that are standard in the industry. We’re very grateful to Bosch for their support – it’s already had a real impact in the workshops.”
Adam Scott-Gobin from Bosch added: “We’re proud to support Reaseheath College through our ProCollege initiative. By donating tools and offering regular training sessions, we’re helping students build the skills they need in a hands-on, practical way.”
Reaseheath’s Construction Department will continue working closely with Bosch Professional throughout the year, with further training sessions and TechTalks planned.
