The Course
When Esme started her T Level in Management and Administration, she was entering a completely new subject. Having not studied Business at GCSE, she initially found the course and the amount of new information challenging.
Discovering the career she wanted to pursue gave Esme a clear goal and the motivation to turn things around.
“What really helped me make a turn for the better was figuring out what career pathway I wanted to go down.”
She particularly enjoyed the opportunities to learn from business owners and entrepreneurs, who shared their experience and knowledge with students.
The Achievement
By her second year, Esme had made significant progress, achieving a Distinction and an overall Merit. Her tutors also recognised her growing confidence, improved attendance and significant improvement in her mock exams.
For Esme, one of her biggest achievements has been her personal growth.
“There’s one thing that sticks out to me and that I’m proud about is how much I’ve matured throughout my time at Reaseheath.”
What’s Next
Esme has secured a six-year degree-level solicitor apprenticeship, combining employment in a law firm with university study one day a week.
She hopes to complete the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) and qualify as a solicitor.
