If you are interested in a career in food and enjoy cooking and baking, this could be the course for you. You will learn practical skills in our state-of-the-art Food Centre, making a wide range of food and bakery products.
You will gain additional certificates such as health and safety and food safety. This ensures that you will be fully prepared for a wide range of food related careers or the next step in your education.

What qualifications do I need to start?
- Flexible entry requirements which may mean some GCSEs at grades 1-3
- You will have at least one interview and an assessment of your literacy and numeracy and support needs before you are offered a place
What qualifications will I gain?
- Level 1 Certificate in Food Industry Skills
- Functional Skills or GCSE in English and Maths depending on previous qualifications
