MORE INFORMATION
We understand that gaining real life experience is the best way to learn, which is why as a Public Services student at Reaseheath College you will attend a range of exciting trips and study tours off campus. You could:
- Get involved with a police video training exercise, be plastered with mud during a residential Army taster camp or join a simulated house fire search at our local fire and rescue services HQ.
- You may have the opportunity to go behind-the-scenes at the Houses of Parliament and take part in law making workshops, visit Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Safety Central or experience how prisons work.
- Learn about the impact of war and conflict and maybe have the opportunity to apply this knowledge through a study tour to Europe. Previously we have visited the battlefields of Normandy and Auschwitz Concentration Camp in Krakow, Poland.
- Complete valuable work experience with our industry partners through taster activities and residential courses.
- You will be encouraged to volunteer and be actively involved in fundraising for a variety of local charities, including The Royal British Legion, SSAFA and PTSD charities, which is not only really rewarding but it’s great for your CV too.
