Reaseheath Zoo – 15th & 16th December, 10am – 4pm

Reaseheath Zoo is a small sized animal collection in the heart of Reaseheath College, Nantwich. We are home to over 180 species of animals including Brazilian Tapir, Meerkats, Savu Island Pythons Birds of Prey and many more.

We would like to invite you to Reaseheath College to view our exciting new facilities which have recently opened for our Entry & Foundation Learning students. We have invested over £1.5 million in a purpose built facility for our Entry & Foundation students.

Come along to the Burrows Lane Equestrian Centre taster day to take part in a Taster Day on Sunday 18th March, 1pm – 4pm.

Improving Pet Behaviour and Wellbeing – Thursday 10th January, 7.30 – 9pm

Tellington T Touch is a gentle way of influencing behaviour and well-being in companion animals.

Floristry Taster Session – Saturday 19th January, 10.45am – 12.00pm

These taster sessions are ideal for people who have no floristry experience, they are tailored for the absolute beginner who enjoys the magic of flowers. During the session you will have opportunity to discuss with your tutor the range of courses available to you, whether you’re a school leaver looking for a new profession, for those considering a career change or indeed as a leisure pursuit.

Love my River Project – Northwich and Nantwich update – Thursday 7th February, 7.30 – 9pm

Love my River Project currently runs in the Northwich area, working with the community to raise awareness of local rivers and watercourses and involve people in looking after them.

Come along to Burrows Lane Equestrian Centre Open day to meet the staff and horses on Wednesday 4th July.

Live Lambing Weekends – 2nd & 3rd and 9th & 10th March

The whole family can enjoy this unique springtime experience. Children will always remember seeing lambs being born! Doors open 10am – 4pm

There will be lots of fun children’s activities taking place on both weekends including farm competitions and colouring. The Reaseheath Zoo will also be open over our Lambing Weekends.

The Mersey Forest Project – Thursday 7th March, 7.30 – 9pm

The Mersey Forest is a growing network of woodlands and green spaces across Cheshire and Merseyside, which has been creating ‘woodlands on your doorstep’ for 25 years.

University Centre Reaseheath Degree Open Days are held throughout the year and give you the opportunity to meet academic staff, current students and see the campus for yourself.

The Mammals of Cheshire – Thursday 2nd May, 7.30 – 9pm

An exploration of the terrestrial and marine mammals which are regularly seen in the Cheshire region, focusing on identification, conservation issues, observation and recording.

Starting an Organic Farm from scratch – Thursday 6th June, 7.30 – 9pm

Mere Brow is a 13.5 acre smallholding that has a primary crop of fruit and nut trees. The farm is currently going through organic conversion and aims to follow permaculture principles in its day to day practices.
