My name is Mark Birkitt, Head of Student Services and I manage the Student Services Team which includes Transport, Student Life, Wellbeing and Residential Services.

You have begun a journey that will be full of memories that you will hold for life by signing up to Residency at Reaseheath. As you have chosen to live in whilst on this journey, your student experience will be enhanced by what we have to offer for you.

Our Aim

To ensure your time as a Residential Student at Reaseheath College is a happy healthy and safe one!

To ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety: Equality and Diversity Safeguarding and child protection matters are upheld.

To ensure that helpful and appropriate information is communicated to all Residential Students at Reaseheath College.

Your safety is of paramount importance to us as such, we will participate in regular patrolling of the campus and accommodation buildings in order to ensure your safety is upheld.

To hold one-to-one Individual Residential Development Plans (IRDP’s) with each Under 18 Residential student four times per year, ensuring your stay continues to be happy, healthy and rewarding. You will have regular Hall of Residence meetings with a Safeguarding Officer during the year. To make sure that your voice is heard through regular Hall of Residence meetings. It is important you attend these.

To be the first point of call to all Residential Students for any health, wellbeing safeguarding or emotional concerns. We will be happy to help day or night, or to direct you to the best person to answer any queries you may have.
