OPEN COLLEGE NETWORK CERTIFICATE (OCN)
If you love flowers and would enjoy creating floral designs for pleasure, theses courses are for you. Whether you would like to change career, learn a new skill, or add a creative touch to a special occasion, our courses will enable you to learn how to create beautiful designs. You do not need to have any prior experience for these options unless stated. The OCN qualification involves some theory work.

The OCN programme focuses on creating and experimenting with a diverse range of floristry designs including hand tied bouquets, floral arrangements and wedding work. Generally, two practical pieces will be completed each week, with the first taken apart in order to complete the second. A small element of written work is completed during class time to support understanding of the principles of practical designs. During your first week you will be given a practical schedule outlining designs to be completed on the programme. Previous students have gone on to professional qualifications and to work freelance within the industry.
Flower materials (and some sundry items) will be provided by the college, prices indicated per class. Scissors and knives can be purchased from our online store.

At Reaseheath college we are committed to providing leisure programmes which are cost effective with each course needing to recruit a minimum number of students. On occasion, this does not occur and unfortunately, we may need to cancel a programme. Please be assured that this is a situation which we will do our utmost to avoid.
OCN Level 1 – to enrol onto this programme the full tuition fee must be paid prior to starting the course and before the 12th September 2023, using our online store. Once payment is received you will receive an email containing a link to enrol.
OCN Level 2 and 3 – to enrol on this course you can either pay the full tuition fee prior to starting the course using our online store.
Alternatively, you can pay a non-refundable booking fee of £100.00 using our online store and the remainder of the balance in instalments. (Please note you will receive an invoice for the remainder of your tuition fees with instructions on how to set up a reoccurring card payment, once your reoccurring card payment has been set up you will receive an email containing your enrolment link).
